Welcome to Sonja’s Country Inn in the quaint little town of Knightsen, CA. Knighsten has a bar, a post office, a convenience store and a church. If you blink, you might miss it. If you do, you’ll miss out on one of the gems of the East Bay – our little historic saloon! Owned by European-born Sonja Thompson, Sonja’s Country Inn boasts a 30-foot long bar, seating for 60, Sunday afternoon and Monday Night Football (in season), and Happy Hour every Monday through Friday from 4 PM to 6 PM with complimentary bar snacks. Our back patio is open for our smoking patrons. Sonja’s is available for private parties every day of the week – ask us how you can rent Sonja’s for free! Plenty of free parking out front or in the lot across the street.
